I'm an AR guy. Have long sworn to stay away from AKs just because I don't want to go down that collecting rabbit hole. But I respect them and have always regretted not building a couple when they were like $300.
No longer $300, but this one seemed like a solid enough bargain so I finally bit. Was happy to pick it up this weekend in honor of the children marching.
Serbian/Yugo N-PAP "Downfolder" from Classic Firearms. (Century import.)
Nicer fit and finish than I expected, but a lot of sharp edges!
Will need to be used a bit to loosen up, so I just ordered a couple thousand rounds of steel-case import (something that flies against my instincts, but hey--what are AKs for after all?).
Almost time for a trip to the family farm!

I got a Finn capture/rework at Oaks. Kind of an impulse buy, might sell it soon to fund a CZ-75. Depends on if the new Gunsmith Cats gets me excited for that gun. As far as I can tell the bolt, receiver, and barrel are matching and original. The stock might be the original. Great bore and the action is shimmed.

Congrats
Is that one out of the crates 2 vendors had set up.. just thought how cool it would be to get one of those crates and be the first to open it up..
I have a Hex receiver from Tula.. didn't see any Hex receivers at the show, getting harder to find
one ammo table had a pile of 7.62x54R STBT hunting ammo for $25 a box
I ordered one of these without the brace last night and from a different vendor, hopefully it will ship soon.
There's some really cool upgrades I am going to do to make is a kick ass little PDW like the conversion from Beretta 92 to Glock Mag's as shown in the picture.

Nah, this one was from a table with a few uncommon MN rifles. I doubt this thing has seen a Russian crate since the Winter War. I swore I saw at least two hex receiver rifles at the show, both were $350.
And yikes that is quite a bit for x54R hunting ammo. I think the Winchester stuff is still a bit cheaper than that.
Protest and "fuck you" guns arriving. :D
The one on top is a Sig MCX 300 BLK "hybrid pistol". I saw it as a way to get the upper cheap, and have an extra lower when I'm done turning it into an SBR. The MCX upper came on an M400 lower, hence the "hybrid".

And my first suppressor, will go on the 300 BLK SBR when the Crown gives me permission.

Nice play things, will you be displaying them on April 30th by chance Justin?
