One minor beef I have with Belding and Mull is that it charges $10 "processing fee" for PICS, then it also slaps on sale tax on the fee because now the background check is considered a service. All the other local stores I've purchased firearms from charge the actual cost of $5, and no tax. Don't get me wrong, Belding and Mull is still a good place to shop. Just remember when doing comparison to add about $5 to its out-of-door prices.
Pierce is a bit high in price. But there is also Lewistown Hunting and Fishing at the Burnham exit, pretty good little shop. But as others have said, I like B&M. Word of warning, stay away from Hunter's Warehouse in Bellefonte.
on RT. 45 in Spring Mills we have Noll's gun shop and then just down the road you have Cox's gun shop. about 15~20 ish mins from state college
Go to Hunter's Warehouse. He'll try to sell you his $4,000 AR-15 and his $140 Ruger 10/22 25-round mags.
I'll recommend Belding and Mull.. stay away from the shady dude in Bellefonte, Millers Gun Shop, and Grice as far as I'm concerned.
Edit: I didn't see you actually discussing "hunter's warehouse." STAY AWAY!!! Or put on goggles so you don't get any crap in your eyes when you walk within range of his voice.
I was at the place in Lewiston and I thought the place a dump. They had crap all over the counter and no selection. There are two shops in Penn's Valley. Noll's and Cox's. Noll's is trying to gouge its customers and that pisses me off. They are asking $50 for normally $15 pmags and their selection sucks too. I don't have an opinion on Cox's yet.
