Basic handgun courses in South central PA ???

Howdy All,

I live in South Central Pa, and am looking for some basic handgun courses .. Are there any at the moment soon to be going on ?? I looked at freedom armory but that was a bit out of my cash flow range ..

Any help would be greatly appreciated !!

I'm not sure what you mean by "basic handgun course", but you just missed the start of the lastest NRA Handgun Safety course at Harrisburg Hunters & Anglers. The next one is in July. There is also a four day Massad Ayoob handgun course planned for September.

How basic of a handgun course are you looking for? Let me warn you that the NRA Basic Pistol shooting course is VERY BASIC. Maybe it was just how my instructor wanted to teach the class but it was all so so basic and essentially read out of an NRA handbook. So if you arent familiar with handguns take the course. If you have been shooting a few years and know your way around a handgun find something more advanced.

I've been shooting for most of my life, so I guess I'm looking more towards self defense type classes of hand guns..

General Defensive Handgun right near you in Lewisberry. I took it a few years ago and recommend it.
