Help me smooth out my RTF a bit!
If this belongs in Gunsmithing please move it, but I think more pistol guys will see it here.
I have a G17rtf that I LOVE. The texture is magnifcent everywhere.....except on my love handle!! Being that I'm a righty, I don't think a little smoothing on the lower left section of the grip will affect me at all. And I don't want it too smooth, just take the sharp tips off the "polymer pyramids" on one section.
So....How?!? And with what?!?

It's a Glock. Rub it on a concrete curb a little while ;)

Hey man, Try some sand paper... just to see what would wear down first, the glock or the sand paper.

How about a Dremel with the soft wire bit. It would take it off slowly & leave you with a slightly textured look? Sound's like this would be a safe effective method.

Ha, ha, my money is on the Glock! Actually, everything worked out well and took about 5 minutes. I did a few passes in just a couple spots with some fine grit sandpaper, then ........
