High Explosive Familiarization Class (April 25th, 2020)
Have you ever wanted to learn how to safely handle and use High Explosives (HE) including C4, Semtex, DetCord, Dynamite, Comp-B, ANFO, and Liquid HE Helix/Texpak ??? Here's your chance. On April 25th, Washington County Machine Guns will hold an 10-hour HANDS-ON class on the safe handling and use of multiple types of HE with different firing methods.
For the first hour, students will be instructed on safety, the history of HE, types of HE, types of detonators, and proper ATF logging & storage requirements. The rest of day the students will have hands-on use of arming and detonating multiple types of HE. All “firings” and setups will be done by students under the close direct supervision of an experienced instructor. Are you ready to yell, “FIRE IN THE HOLE” as a pound of C4 destroys a tree, WE ARE!!!
Class will be limited to 12 students to allow every attendee the chance to handle, set up, and detonate multiple firings. All attendees must be an US citizen, 21 years old with a valid government ID and be able to pass a background check. Tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable.
NOTE: Washington County Machine Guns holds multiple ATF Licenses including the coveted Manufacturer of High Explosive License (Type 20 FEL) as well as the necessary HE Storage Permits from PA DEP.
