Which AR ... LMT Daniel Defense Noveske???
I'm gonna be adding an AR to my collection probably around october and I've been looking at a bunch of different manufacturers and these are the three that are sticking out to me. I want to keep my purchase under $1600 so I would be looking at one of their entry level rifles. Anybody have anything good or bad to say about any of them? Would it be a hell of a lot cheaper to build one with all parts from these companies (LMT Lower with a DD upper)??
Re: Which AR ... LMT Daniel Defense Noveske???
Those are ALL very excellent rifles, any one of which will outlast us both COMBINED. The Noveske will be the most expensive, but like a Town Car compared to a Kia, it will net you better re-sale value, should it ever come to that.
The DD will probably be the most affordable of the three - it's also GTG out of the box. Add irons and optic of choice, and you're GTG.
All three have excellent customer service, and stand behind what they sell. You have narrowed it down to three excellent choices - you could decide on one of those by rock, paper, scissors, and STILL not go wrong! http://www.freesmileys.org/smileys/smiley-happy088.gif

I have a Noveske/Vltor rifle. It's a mid length 16.1" set up with a 12" VIS-3 upper. I like it. It shoots smooth, it's accurate, and just an over all good set up. The smoothness comes mostly from the trigger and the compensator, though. I have a DD lite rail, it's easily my favorite rail by any manufacturer, it's on my SAM-R. I don't have Irons on mine yet, just a 1-4 accupoint :-(
Re: Which AR ... LMT Daniel Defense Noveske???
those are all great. look at Colt and Bravo Company too. you really cant go wrong with any of those. figure out what you want first - such as barrel length and wieght; rifle, carbine or mid length; fixed iron sight or flat top; fixed front sight or flip up; quad rail or standard hand guards. figure that stuff out and then see which company makes closest to what you want. I would prefer to buy a complete rifle from a local dealer than parting it together.

Flip a coin that's how good all 3 are. I have a LMT 14.5" M4 and it's a great rifle. I also have shot sub MOA 5 shot groups with steel case ammo through it.

I don't have personal experience with the others, but I have a DDM4 V3 & I can verify that they're GTG.
Re: Which AR ... LMT Daniel Defense Noveske???
For around $1400 all 3 of these manufacturers have rifles but the the Faniel Defense seems to come with the most stuff u would have to buy aftermarket for the LMT and Noveske it seems like the best value
Re: Which AR ... LMT Daniel Defense Noveske???
DD has the best value of those listed, LMT next, then Noveske. There are very few reasons I would purchase a Noveske over the others, but all 3 are very good guns.
Re: Which AR ... LMT Daniel Defense Noveske???
Does $1600 include an optic? or do you want to run irons?
I would buy a DD or BCM and have money left over for an Aimpoint.
Still top quality, but not overpaying for it. Look at the specs and theyll be the same.
Noveske has some options most dont, but thats why they cost $2000+
