Re: Gun-friendly apartments?
I've never heard of anyone renting out a house to someone who didn't allow guns. Is that a common problem I'm not aware of?

Believe it or not, there are a number of apartment complexes that don't allow firearms. And since it's "private property" they can get away with.

That's weird. I guess I'm glad I've never lived in an apartment complex, I've only rented houses. Besides, how many landlords inspect your belongings?

I'm banking on this, however I'd be much happier knowing the landlord didn't give a rat's ass about if I own guns or better yet liked guns.
I wish I lived somewhere that this wasn't an issue.

My daughter has a condo in SE PA and they also have restrictions on firearms within their regulations. I believe their rationale is to protect all owners against bullet going thru walls and such.

Save up enough for 5% down and closing costs and buy a cheap foreclosure instead!
Re: Gun-friendly apartments?
Why even mention it to begin with, you don't have to infor LEO when you get stopped.....
Re: Gun-friendly apartments?
Because I open carry everywhere. No way to avoid the landlord knowing. Plus I dislike being subversive regarding my firearms. Makes life a hassle and besides that I'd rather not get booted out after throwing money at them. Easier to find a place that either doesn't care if you own firearms or is openly friendly toward owners.
