Plinking in the Philadelphia area?
Hi folks,
I've got a collection of strange old ceramics that have followed me around awkwardly for years. I can't just throw them away, and I'd like to dispose of them and have the most fun possible while doing so. I've got to get some pistol practice in anyway.
Anyone know where I might do some plinking in the Philadelphia area?
Thanks,

I do not know of any place within a reasonable drive from Philadelphia where you can do what you wish to your ceramics. The Philadelphia area is just so densely populated and there are many many local ordinances that prohibit shooting it is about impossible.

Unfortunate, but the old time junk yards are a thing of the past. Even if you knew someone would a lot of ground, it would be awkward to leave a friend's outdoor property with ceramic chips in every direction.

You used to be able to go into Essington or in back of the airport but that's no longer the case. I wish I knew a place myself I love plinking. Chester County is the closest place and about 45 minutes away.

At this rate, Chester would be fine by me. Have any suggestions as to specific locations in Chester? Preferably somewhere that isn't having a 'state of emergency' in the spring... I'd prefer to go plinking, not self-defense shooting.
As for junkyards, I prefer to stay away from the mafiosos :-)
Thanks, all,
