Big news from Glock Dec 10th? UPDATE - G44 22LR
Glock's website says "Something legendary is coming", it seems they're releasing a new product on 12-10-19. Anyone want to join me in speculating wildly as to what it will be? My best guess is a pistol caliber carbine or a new line of sub-compact to compete with the P365 & Hellcat. Although they did say "legendary", so clearly it's gotta be a polymer 1911!;) What do you guys think? a G26X? A Glock brand pair of kevlar slacks to cash in on the "Glock leg" epidemic?
See Post #55 - G44 in 22 LR - NZ.

A new Glock that looks like a Glock.
-
Re: Big news from Glock Dec 10th?
I'm thinking they will be teaming with Polymer 80 to bring a new factory style frame with the double undercuts and better grip angle.
-
Re: Big news from Glock Dec 10th?
Probably something to complete with capacity of the Sig P365 or a PCC.
-
Re: Big news from Glock Dec 10th?
People have been saying that every new glock release is going to be a pistol caliber carbine forever. It isn't going to happen.
Meet the new glock, same as the old glock

Re: Big news from Glock Dec 10th?
Its probably the double stack micro/sub compacts theyve had in development.
And maybe some better style.
Wouldnt mind glock moving off of the freight truck look.

Some guns you show to your friends, some to your enemies.
Glock is never going to be one you show off to your friends.

A Glock 1911 that doesn't jam.

Re: Big news from Glock Dec 10th?
Comes locked to gain Kalyvornja (et al) approval. Obtaining Kalyvornja permission to own comes with the combination to the lock.

Re: Big news from Glock Dec 10th?
It will probably look exactly like all of their other guns. They just keep rehashing the same shit. How about making a grip that sucks less, a decent trigger and sights that cost more than $5.

That is in line what I was thinking. Glock has a history of being a one trick pony. They made a new model by swapping the lower of a glock 17 and installing a glock 19 upper. Real creative. Who knows maybe they might surprises us. After all shot show is coming up.

Re: Big news from Glock Dec 10th?
In the meantime it is reported Glock has a 65% share of firearms sold in the U.S.
Over $550,000,000 in revenue in 2017. I don’t think Gaston Glock is worried about what some internet poster’s think.

Re: Big news from Glock Dec 10th?
Actually, the trigger pulls in my Gen 5 G19 pistols (every one I bought used) are much more perfecter than Gen 2, 3, or 4 G19s I've either owned or someone else's I've fired. Even better than my respringed Gen 2 G19s.
As for the surprise, I'm voting for a SIG 365 competitor.
