5 Gun Zombie Tournament

Come test your Zombie-Apocalypse survival skills! Diplomatic Protection Training Institute (DPTI), a veteran-owned small business located in Boardman, OH, will host a 5-Gun Zombie Tournament on Saturday, October 13th, 2012 at their training facility and range located in Wampum, PA.

Participants will have the opportunity to compete using M249 5.56 Light Machine Gun Squad Automatic Weapons, M203 40mm Grenade Launchers, M240B 7.62 Medium Machine Guns, AK-47 Assault Rifles, and M9 Beretta 9mm Pistols. Participants will be scored and prizes will be awarded. There will be three separate stations with a group of weapons at each station. Once an individual has fired and scored on their targets, they will move to the next station.

Participation is limited due to space restrictions and time allotted for the event. Pre-registration guarantees a spot on the range. Walk-ins will be accepted space permitting. All shooters must be 18 years old; valid ID required. Spectators are welcome and minors are permitted along with a parent and/or guardian. All attendees will be required to sign a waiver. Cost for participation is $160.00; $150.00 for pre-registrants. Spectators may enter free of charge.

Dress for the weather. Zombies don’t care if it’s raining. Lunch/water and camp-style chair is suggested for range during down time due to multiple relays/loading, etc. After competition has concluded, shooters that wish to purchase extra ammo to mow down remaining zombies will be permitted.
