I'll be set up there with lots of interesting new items for sale/trade. Stop by and check us out at the Highland Arms tables. Drop by at least to say "Hi".
never been to this one, and before i waste my time and money like i did at the monroeville gun show opinions would be appreciated, got some ak builds in the works and need the 922 crap, so before i mail order, is the trip worth it.
thanks in advance.
In my experiences this show has been very similar to the Monroeville shows.
The major difference between the PGCA show and the C&E Monroeville show is the PGCA show is almost exclusivly filled with guns and closely related firearms accessories, with a smattering of knife and surplus dealers plus quite number of small collectors ofn militari. As opposed to the Monroeville show which is filled with some gun dealers and filled out by loads of other junk vendors.
Some of the better gun dealers such as Bravermans, Highland Arms, Powell's, just to name a few do both shows. Some of the better knife, parts and ammo people do as well. However, the jerky, junk jewelry and trinket vendors will NOT be at the PGCA show. The PGCA does a pretty decent job of weeding out the crap.
I concur, PGCA show has more gun tables less crap.
Give the devil his due, true dat. There won't be any even remotely non-related junk there. No jerky, no cute lil' jewelry girl.
As for AK 922-r compliant parts, you'll have to take a chance and look closely. IIWM looking for 922-r parts, I'd order on line before looking at this or most other shows.
Noah
True Noah, 922-r parts are going to have to be hunted for at this show. Mpoppel's best bet might be to order them online. Alas, I'll miss seeing Jennie's lovely visage this weekend as well. Oh well, She'll be at Valley Forge next weekend.
I'll be working at Bear Paw Arms table.
Stop by, say hi, and buy a machine gun.
I've been to these shows a couple of times and if you look hard enough you can find some decent deals on ammo, but I'd say 99% of the merchandise is overpriced. Just like the rest of the mall.
