i really dont like colts cylinder release...or the fact that the cylinder rotates backwards....

I have always preferred the full underlug, so in this case Colt gets the nod.

toss up for me, I like the ventilated rib, not too fond of the full underlug, Im a Smith guy so I'll have to give the nod to the M29, Interesting how much thicker the top strap is on the Colt , first I've ever seen a side by side comparison like this...two very pretty revolvers. this thread just cost me some cash , my major wheel guns are stainless, now I have to go get a blued one, gonna ask Santa for a 6" M57

I admit I didn’t do a true tally but it definitely seems pretty evenly split thus far.
I also just realized that what I need to do is take some side by sides of the Python and my 6 inch model 586. That might be interesting as they’re nearly the exact same size and both have a full underlug.
