change in residency
I do not know the laws involved but any enlightenment would be helpful... or even a point and grunt in the right direction. Another thread made me think of this.
If a person is a resident in a state that has very lax guns laws and purchases a firearm and then moves to PA and becomes a resident, do those guns "need" to be somehow listed with the PSP or someone else? I wouldn't think so but like I said i have no idea.

Re: change in residency
No. PA has no 'gun registry' though they do track most sales and transfers using a 'database'. There is no requirement to notify anyone of any firearms you bring with you when moving into PA.

Re: change in residency
No. In fact it is illegal for PSP to maintain a registry.
We all know they wouldn't break the law... right?

Re: change in residency
And even if you tried to register them, there are no provisions in the law, nor any applicable government forms, that might apply.
Move here from another state with your personal arsenal? Good for you! Pennsylvania has no idea how many people have rifles, shotguns and firearms, nor does it care.
