Any lawyer recommendations?
After much reading I've decided to actually seek out an attorney. No I'm not in any trouble ,I just really would like to know with confidence that I have adequate back up if I ever needed it. I don't just want to pick up "Joe first day on the job", and hope for the best. Does anyone have any recommendations? A north hills location is preferred but I'm willing to travel a bit for good representation. If you have already been through this kind of a search, do you have any recommendations on how to begin? What I mean is, How do I approach a lawyer and let them know that I'll be using them? Is there some way of finding out their success rate prior? Any info will be appreciated.
Re: Any lawyer recommendations?
You can consider contacting Peter Georgiades. I don't have first hand experience beyond his work with the F.I.R.E. Institute and his contributions on the forum as PeteG.
Here's a quick legal bio with some contact information.

He's the second on this list.

If nothing else, he may be able to offer a referral if he's unable to help you personally.
Good luck and keep us posted on your findings.
ETA: I contacted Peter a while back about retaining him. He offered a consultation to discuss things. I would imagine it's SOP to retain an attorney first so you'll probably want to find an attorney willing to represent you and then securing them instead of contacting them ad hoc.

J. Michael McCormick is just a little north of Pittsburgh (Verona), and comes highly recommended by Kim Stolfer.
Re: Any lawyer recommendations?
I'm still looking around; If anyone else can recommend a good attorney in the north hills area please post a link. I came across this guy, needless to say, I wont be calling him.

He says: "There are a number of circumstances that can lead to weapons charges. One of them is Possession of Weapon in a Bar". Maybe I'm reading a little too deep, but last time I checked its legal to carry in a bar.

I've decided to copy this guys (Peter N. Georgiades) contact info and keep it in my wallet just in case. Here is the link that helped make my decision.

Re: Any lawyer recommendations?
I know of an EXCELLENT lawyer thats about a 45 minute drive south of Pittsburgh.
He is pro 2nd Amendment and really really went above and beyond when I needed him.
His son is also a lawyer and at no additional cost, they BOTH were by my side when I went through litigation.
Its great to have a lawyer by your side when you need one, but its even better to show up with TWO lawyers !
I know 45 minutes might be out of the way for some, but if not let me know and I will get his contact info to you. He/They also offer free consultation with no time limit.
Re: Any lawyer recommendations?
Post the info I'll check them out. Thanks.
Re: Any lawyer recommendations?
Ricochet, could you post the name(s) and the contact info?
I'd be interested in setting up a consultation with them as well.

I apologize for the delay, this past week I have been extremely ill.
