Looking for a good range in NW Lancaster County area
So, I have lived in northwest Lancaster county for years, but have never really taken much interest in where all of the local ranges and clubs are. I recently purchased my first firearm (a pistol) and I am looking for a good local range where I can really spend some time learning my weapon. Anyone in the area know a good indoor/outdoor range that I can utilize on a fairly regular basis?

I'm a member of Penn Dutch, inexpensive to join, lots of space, never had any issues up there.

I just realized that I had said northeast Lancaster county. I meant northwest. Bit of a difference there. Edited the OP to reflect the stupid remark on my part.
That seems like a real nice club out in New Holland. I would check it out, but it's nearly an hour away from home for me. I have no idea if we really have any others truly like it here in my area. I know there are a few around, but those I have heard of do not seem to be very favorable of those with pistols wanting to go shoot. I could be wrong though.

I belong to Mt. Joy and Conewago (just outside of Elizabethtown). If you want a tour of both an/or applications to either, I could help with that also. Let me know via a PM, I would be available most of the weekend.

Another option is Columbia Fish and Game

In addition to the outdoor ranges, they have an indoor range but NO handguns allowed indoors, archery and 22 rifles only.

It's a shame the indoor range does not allow pistol, but I'm sure that is for a reason. Thanks for the info!

Seems the backstop height is limited and handgun shooters are apparently more likely to put a round over the top and into the block end wall than a rifle shooter. Less accurate or the rifle is easier to control or something like that. Not exactly sure as I haven't been there long enough to see for myself.
