I just went to check 44mag.com because they were one of the last sites to have NHTMG mags and figured they may have decent prices on these new Surefeeds...
Nothing left - almost literally. The site is closing down soon. That sucks.

This place has them on sale for $10.20. Shipping varies per quantity and isn't the greatest.

A relatively brief "announcement" (not really a review) about them...

The consensus on another forum is that these are pre-production mags and the followers differ slightly on production mags.

Tim from MAC uses them in his most recent video says they are the same USGI mags he used in the Marine Corps with texturing.
They ran well as expected.
Personally I don't see what all the fuss is about?
Well, they aren't the same if the feed lips are different.
The bumps may or may not be desirable to everyone, but they make sense to me "on paper" anyway.
The bumps aren't going to affect function, but a change in the feed lips could, so it's something I'm trying to read up on.
Apparently they haven't been around long enough to say with 100% certainty, but I'd be surprised if it's going to be an issue.
The only "fuss" for me is that it looks like an improved USGI mag and I like USGI mags the best.
When I was typing my last post the 2nd picture wasn't added yet with the specs. If GI mags are your thing then cool, as far as the feed lip thing goes I've never had an issue with standard OKAY or D&H mags unless they were bent or damaged so I don't see the need unless it's for the new M855A1 ammo the military is going to switch to now. However I believe Pmag won the contract from here out at least with the USMC since they tested far more reliable over the long term.
The texturing makes sense to me and more options always equals better unless it's pro mag.
Still running Vietnam era straight 20 round mags with aluminum followers here. Still never had a problem. Cant even remember replacing a spring more then once. If I'd ever consider a 30rnd mag these probly be my first choice.
Well, they have reengineered the 30 round mag about a hundred times for feeding and reliability issues. Yet the 20 round straight mags have yet to fail from probly their most original design. I'll keep my 20's. And I even have straight 20 round pmags. Not that I've ever needed to use one yet.
I saw a video the other day and learned that they stopped/are stopping production of these mags. (maybe all mags)
I never did get any to try.
Looks like some places still have them while others are out of stock
