Re: made a mistake on LTCF app/interview(Philadelphia pa)
A bit ranty there but I guess I can understand that. On a side note, while we wait for the approval or denial letter, why did you move to Philadelphia? Not being judgmental just curious. It seems you already know Philly is a difficult place to deal with when it comes to anything the government gets into. was it a job offer that you could not turn down? I left the city a over a decade ago for several reasons. It has it's charms but dealing with authority there is a nightmare.
Re: made a mistake on LTCF app/interview(Philadelphia pa)
Pa has one ltcf state wide. Philadelphia is out of control. We need to push for rescinding the extra powers given to cities of the first class. Maybe just double the population requirement.

They don't have extra powers when it comes to the process. They just think they do and have not been called on it. Too expensive for the average person to try and change it permanently.

All Ive ben through in my life, Im a bit ranty about everything...I could host a talk show on it! lol
Anyway I had to move back in with family in (Phila), yes due to lack of work, health reasons, and the reminants of the smoke still not officially cleared from some past bad women encounters...divorce, banckruptcy etc... puke!
They say Time heals all wounds...I say maybe so..but life never speeds the friggin process it slows it ....

Did you ltcf expire or are you renewing because you moved to a different county?
Re: made a mistake on LTCF app/interview(Philadelphia pa)

Not even close. I would put Delco in the top third of counties as far as I have heard. They don't require prints or a police card. They don't require your references to be in the same county. They do not issue on the spot. I have dealt with Philadelphia and Delco. To be honest I did not have trouble with Philly. I did not have an interview but I was printed. I have learned a shit ton since them so I understand that they were overstepping even then (about 17 years ago).

Effectively they do, they ask for more things than Berks and even berks asks for references and that’s not part of the process as written. This guy went through an interrogation of sorts, that’s not happening in the free part of Pa. It’s supposed to be pics check picture and make a card. Shall issue. Only out is if they know you for bad reasons. Not parking tickets.
You’re right it’s too expensive to fight and they count on that. Preemption was supposed to fix that.
