Has anyone had a chance to use or hear the Gemtech Sandstorm? Review?
Screw it I bought one!
All Titanium, rated for .300 mag at 7.8in long and a mere 13.3 ounces... Can I really go wrong? Its got to sound at least as good as an HVT if not better. Review in about 4 months:D
Just had my Sandstorm for a few weeks know and like it a lot.
Have only shot it on a 300 whisper bolt gun with sub and super sonic loads.
Here's a video shooting subsonic loads.

That is so sweet bro! How does it sound supersonic? What are the spec's on that stick? What load are you using?
I ordered one on the tax free deal and I can't wait to hear it in action!
Gemtech is paying for my stamp too!
Mine is going on my Remmy 700 SPS Tac 308. My fifth can and fourth from Gemtech.
This will be my 3rd Can, first one from Gemtech. I have a AAC Evo .45 and a Surefire 556. Thinking about getting a AAC Element .22lr can also. Damn suppressors are Addictive Man!!!!! I will be using it mainly on my HS Precision RDR but it will also see use on the SASS, M1A and a few 7mm hunting rifles.
Sounds good with supersonic too. But I'm only shooting a 165 grain bullet at 1850 fps. The rifle is a 16.5" 1x8 twist on a Savage 10fp action. In the video I'm shooting the 208 grain A-Max bullets. This gun really like's them.
If you do buy the Element (which I would recommend) also get the baffle removal tool. It's a must if you put a lot of lead through it.
