Thanks everyone for all of the advice on short notice.
We ended up in downtown Lancaster. We walked down Prince street and stumbled upon the visitor's center. The nice woman there showed us a map and a couple of things in the area we could check out.
We visited a couple of galleries before heading to President James Buchanan's home for a tour. It was interesting; about 40 minutes in length. The lady who gave the tour seemed very knowledgeable.
We then drove back to Lancaster and ate at The Belvedere Inn for dinner. Fantastic food, but pricey. 1 drink, 1 appetizer, 4 entries, 2 coffees and 2 desserts was $160. We walked a few blocks to work off the Pots Du Creme and then went back home.
Walking around Prince St. was a bit scary for us. This reminds me I need to get my NH permit so I can carry in PA again. I used to carry in PA on my UT permit but that does me no good now.
Thanks again.
