Why not the trigger safety? For the fuck lot of good it does, treat it like the child safe lighters with the little piece of metal over the wheel and just pop that sucker out of there and your good to go. .
Or get a revolver.

I love my RM380. The trigger pull is really long, but it doesn't take much time to get used to it. The gun has been 100% reliable after over 500 rounds.
Also, my wife has a Ruger SP101 that is DAO. A set of Wolff springs reduced the pull to a very manageable, but safe result. Great gun, though a bit heavy.
It's cool. No need to educate me, because I'm too old to change my ways - and I don't give a damn about a drop safety - a light trigger pull without a safety is not my idea of "perfection".

Look into a handgun with HK LEM, especially in the HK45 and USP series.
