Need a silver finish target scope
I need a silver finish target scope for less than an arm and a leg. I built a custom Ruger 10/22 and have an Ultra Dot scope on it now, but I think I made a mistake. I think that a traditional target scope would be more beneficial. I am looking for a 6-24 or 8-32 power x 50mm with sun shades mostly for looks. I am trying to get into the competition shooting end of things. anyone have any suggestions?

Check these listings on a daily basis - they sell pretty quickly. These are mostly high-end optics, but they move a lot of Weaver T-series, which you can get in silver (I have a silver T-36 on my Cooper LVT). Here's the site...

Good luck.

Weaver makes a good target scope and wont break your bank,
If you want a realy cheap junker you could always go with a Tasco target scope they make them in variables up to 40x
Re: Need a silver finish target scope
0000 steel wool on any aluminum tube scope will give you what you desire. Otherwise I suggest looking into Mueller scopes. They are held in very high regard in the rimfire community as fantastic values for the cost. The 8-32x44 side focus released recently might be just what you are looking for. rfc.com would be a good place to start reading if you wanna get into the .22 target scene....
