LTCF Application Processing Question
After I mailed my LTCF application to York County Sheriff's Department, they cashed my check with haste on 01/09/13, but I never herd anything back, and I thought I was suppose to get a phone call with a message explaining it is ready for pick up / denied.
Tomorrow I'll be heading down to York, for other business, and I plan on stopping by the Sheriff's deputy office, to inquire about my LTCF, application.
Other than asking about it do you guys have any suggestions, or know if I'm out of time, and lost my money?
update:
got my permit, they explained they want to see a license, and didn't explain not calling, but they were friendly.

I can't offer you anything specific about York, but per state law they have 45 days to either grant or deny (for good cause) your application after receipt. If they deny you they are required to send a certified letter telling you so and the reason. If you are denied, $15 of the $20 application fee should be refunded.
Re: LTCF Application Processing Question
I got mine in December and yes they should have called you or emailed you. Check your spam/junk email box maybe it went through there. I got the email a few days later. But I don't think you can be late in picking it up....It's prob there waiting on you! Good luck :)
Re: LTCF Application Processing Question
They are past 45 days allowed by law.
Drive down there and go pickup your license
Re: LTCF Application Processing Question
Did you fill out the courtesy contact form. They prefer to contact with the email but will also call if you dont put an email address, they will try to call one time.
They are swamped right now but they are only taking a few days to process the application.
After it is approved, you have 90 days to pick it up.
Hours for picking up completed Applications:
Monday, Wednesday, & Thursday 8am to 430pm
Tuesday and Friday 8am to 6pm
Saturday 8am to 2pm

Note: pdf link in paragraph 4 is the courtesy form.
Re: LTCF Application Processing Question
Like others said, you might have missed the one form to send in with your application... which specifies your contact method
Sounds like it is ready though

Re: LTCF Application Processing Question
Since when can you mail in your LTCF application to the Sheriff?
That's something has to be done in person.

Umm, yeah. Not cool.

You must also either have business, family, or property in York County.
The DL/ID type requirement is also more narrowly written than can be justified by state law, IMO.
