Introduction and moving into the area.....
Hi, hopefully this is a good spot to introduce myself and ask a few questions.....
We bought a house in Emporium, and it looks like we will be moving in around late October.
Obviously getting settled will take up a bit of time in the beginning, but eventually I would like to locate club(s)/range(s)
to shoot at.
Is there anything relatively local with an indoor pistol range?
How about Bullseye Pistol Competition?
I also enjoy shooting trap.
I'm pretty lucky here in WNY as I can do all that at the club I currently belong to (Allied Sportsman Club).
Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks - Keyzard

Hello Keyzard and welcome to the neighborhood.... There's a lot of knowledge to be gained here and some good back and forth "discussion" as well, so I hope you stick around.
As for your request, someone with more info on that will see this and let you know.
Enjoy,

An indoor pistol range in Emporium? Did you visit the town before buying the house? Its kind of too small to support something like that.
Also don't vote for any democrats after you've moved here.

I didn't think there would be anything in the town, but maybe close by? Just looking for some local knowledge. FWIW, I currently drive 30 minutes to get to my club.
And the NY liberals are one of the reasons we're moving to PA. I'm just happy we found a place where we can get away from them and still be close enough to get back to our aging parents when needed.

Well, thanks for the help......lol.
Re: Introduction and moving into the area.....
Not much in that area, try the Sinnemahoning Sportsmans club for outdoor shooting, decent outdoor range that seems to be getting a little more active. Indoor range i think you have to go to State College area for that.

Only indoor range in 100 miles is probably in Williamsport. I don't think State College has an indoor range, but I could be mistaken.

Excellent, thanks all for the suggestions and info. We moved into the new house about 3 weeks ago and as soon as we get a little settled (it's amazing how much crap you can collect in 23 years) I'll start exploring those options.
Thanks again!
