Yes, and that too.
Some folks have their foil hats wrapped too tight about the FFL records versus ATF inspections. Unless that dealer is doing something shady, or if a number of guns have been traced due to usage in crimes - your entries at that FFL will likely never draw attention or get copies made of by the ATF.
FFL's have been required to keep bound books since 1938 - the Federal Firearms Act. And it hasn't been a problem for law abiding folks.

and then the FFL needs to worry. If my IOI starts taking pics and copies much less writes anything but Ok or passed. The pucker starts.
