Took the intro long range class offered by Ghost Firearms this weekend in PA at the Mifflin range. Was a great time, I highly recommend their class if you are getting into long range stuff and want to get some time shooting at 1000yd.
Class started with some inside learning, and then proceeded right to verifying zero at 100/200yd. Couple folks had issues with their rigs that classes like this bring out and the instructors were quick to jump in to fix any issue. Can't say enough good things about how the class was run. My group was five shooters with a instructor so you got very good attention from someone looking to help you shoot better.
By the end of the first day they had everyone smacking the steel at 1000yd which was very cool. They mixed in a few team drills, and solo competitions to keep things interesting. Class "ended" around 5pm on Friday and while some folks left for dinner, I stayed around with my spotter and managed to get a clay pigeon at 1030yd on my second shot.

And the most important part, getting a solid dope card for my rifle and ammo

They also brought a labradar which was very cool, got to see how good Federal makes their ammo. I am still convinced they are using black magic. SD of 6.5, da faq

Forgot one of the cooler aspects of the class, we regrouped Friday night at dusk for some 700yd night shooting. Got to put that illuminated reticle to use on my burris.
