Glock 23 to 9mm conversion
Has anyone done this? What brand did you use?
From my understanding all I need to buy is the new barrel and mags? Can it be any 9mm barrel for a glock 23 or does it have to specifically be for conversions? (Cause if so Id like to buy a Glock made barrel and not lonewolf or those others)
I really just want another glock (I would buy a G19) but I figure this might be the cheaper route.
Re: Glock 23 to 9mm conversion
Yes, you can buy a Glock factory 19 barrel and it will work in your 23. A Lone Wolf barrel will be cheaper, though. Yes, also, on getting 9mm specific mags.
A Glock 17 barrel will NOT work in your 19. The lugs ARE different.
My Lone Wolf conversion barrel worked flawlessly and can be ordered blued and without the stupid wolfs head on the top of the barrel. Plus, you can get a threaded barrel or a G19 long barrel from LW. There are other Glock barel makers like KKM and Bar sto to check out...
