Barrel threading near lancaster?
I'm looking to buy a suppressor and would like to get my 223 bolt rifle threaded so I can use it for groundhog hunting.
Anyone know of any reputable places that will do it near lancaster? Does the barrel need to come off (don't have the tools to remove it so I'd like to keep it on)? What kind of price am I looking at?
Thanks!

I may know a guy who would do a good job of it for you, but he's below Gettysburg and I don't know what his work load looks like. I can ask if you wish.

Sure.... Gettysburg isn't far.

Lanco Tactical in Elizabethtown. Or, you could do it yourself. It's not hard, did an AK once. As a matter of fact, sold the tool to Lanco. Not the same as an AR, but again, not too hard. Just use lots of oil and go slow.

The problem will most likely be that his barrel's OD is larger than what is needed for standard .223 threads, so it will have to be turned down first.
