Dunham's Sports in Pottsville
Dunham's Sports just opened in Pottsville. The small city of Pottsville in Schuylkill County is located about an hour west and a little north of Allentown. Dunham's is located in the Fairlane Village Mall that also has a Lowes, a Kohl's, a Boscov's and a Michaels. I checked them out and they've got quite good prices on the guns. Aside from that, what I liked most of all is they only charge $3 for transfers. Most gun shops will charge upwards of $50 to do a transfer and since I often get guns off the internet from websites like gunauction where I find the best prices to be able to get transfer done for only $3 is a real bargain. Although they did tend to be a bit limited with their ammo, they did have a good selection of guns and at good prices too. I recommend checking them out.

Re: Dunham's Sports in Pottsville
I never really found good prices or service at the different dunham's i stopped at. $3 for a transfer is good although i never had a $50 transfer fee,,,
Re: Dunham's Sports in Pottsville
I recall there was a Dunham's in or near Pottsville at the now defunct Schuylkill Mall.
Re: Dunham's Sports in Pottsville

I don't think so. You aren't going to go there and transfer anything for $3.
Their prices suck. They have always sucked. Everyone knows their prices are high - at least anyone who has ever been in one anyway.
The only prices that are not high are their sale prices - which are in line with internet prices for the most part - maybe a little higher.
That said, they are not Dick's, and I'm glad they continue to provide guns and accessories.
I refuse to believe that they will accept a gun in from an online vendor and do a transfer for three bucks. Not happening.
I think perhaps the OP misunderstood something they told him.

I have bought a few things from them. mostly accessories. they occasionally run some good sales. Always a good experience.
We gotta buy stuff somewhere.
Re: Dunham's Sports in Pottsville
I've been wondering when they were gunna open. Had seen some great deals on guns a few months back but with them shutting down the skook mall I couldn't find anywhere locally to get those online deals they jad

They also have trigger locks too that they refuse to remove when a customer wants to handle a gun. However for a big box store they continued to to sell semi autos and made no further restrictions on selling guns throughout the fallout of Sandy Hook and parkland unlike other similar stores. Therefore I will give them credit for that.
