FML. My two checks were cashed in late May and looking at the NFA tracker, there are no early approvals coming back from then (they're all June, July, August). It's almost like a reviewer grabbed a stack off the top to start working on and of course mine are at the bottom of the stack still sitting on the desk.

Well, I did have to wait from 1/31/19 to 10/5/19 for my last one, so I have been lucky and not so lucky. The last one was submitted right in the middle of the .gov shutdown and its end, actually bought the can at the end of November. Got delayed for about 2 months on the Form 3 transfer from the distributor to my Class III dealer because of the shutdown. So it was more like 11/29/18 to 10/5/19 for my last one.
Re: 2019 NFA Paperwork Timeline
I just received a paper Form 1 to SBR my CZ 61 Skorpian. Two months door to door.
Re: 2019 NFA Paperwork Timeline
I've noticed Elsewhere that waiting times for APPROVAL are approaching and exceeding 365 days.
This thread may not finish up until After the 2020 Presidential Election
Re: 2019 NFA Paperwork Timeline
I bought a dead air wolverine from gander outdoors when they had the 50% off sale in August.
ATF charged my card 9/16
Approved 12/17.
Picked it up this past Saturday.
I got a little worried when they had a major clearance sale and shut the place down after telling me they weren't closing when i asked every time i was in there.
They have employees there until Jan 10 i believe,
transfering suppressors to people whose forms got approved even though the place is closed.
The girl said they weren't given much of a heads up about the closure and no idea of when they would return to work after the tenth, if at all!

The BATFE backgrounds from this store were not originally fast tracked since the location was not closed in September like Johnstown and Dickson City stores, but now that they closed Greensburg, they let the BATFE know and the outstanding Greensburg submissions were pulled by BATFE and completed immediately. They are supposed to knock down that store and rebuild in order to turn it into a "Gander RV and Outdoor" store, which is the only remaining corporate footprint that will be in place. The new store will have to have garage bays to service RV's as well as outside storage and display for new/used RV's. The store product mix is supposed to still include guns and suppressors, but who the hell knows with them, they change things on the fly on a regular basis. Anyway, glad you got your stamp back back. They screwed up my buddy's submission for his on a Trust, and BATFE sent it back to the store for correction. They corrected it and resubmitted; he is expecting to have his in by the end of next week.
