Remove the barrels, what are the markings that show up? I highly suspect that you will A Belgian proof that looks like a "E" over "LG" or similar.
pictures will help if you have any
A. Bayle made sliding breech shotguns in France startung in the 19th century.
Need a lot more information and a pic would be great.
