Firstly, what are you looking for in a range? There is no shortage of options and each one is different.
Sorry, certainly should have given more detail.
I'll be shooting primarily pistol, and maybe a bit of rifle up to 100 yd.
The only one I know much about would be Northern Chester County Sportsmen's Club, which is near the Hopewell Village Historical Site just south of Berks in Chester County. Nothing fancy but not a bad place and always making improvements. $100 to join, $100 annual membership with $50 towards the annual if you work one Saturday and the work is more like hanging around and getting some stuff done. It's mostly an outdoor site but they do have indoor pistol shoots on Wed. Up to 150 yd rifle range. They have some events, weekly trap during the summer, balloon shoots once a month, pumpkin shoots and probably some other things I can't think of off hand. I have been to Security Rifle Range in Stonersville and that's a nice outdoors club with a lot of long distance rifle opportunities. Stonersville is between Reading and Boyertown.
Dave, I'll hit ya with a PM later today or tomorrow.
University rifle club in Exeter. The range goes out to 600 yards. They have steel to ring if you are into that.
Mohnton Fish and Game
Lebanon Valley Sportsmens
Muhlenburg Area Shooters
Hey Y'all. I just moved to Berks county from Oregon and am looking for a place I can pound steel with all my scary black guns. Im not to interested in paying for a club membership but it looks like that is the route im going to have to take after checking out your game land ranges.
