Re: Jury Duty in Doylestown...
Had jury duty earlier this year, if you are picked bring some reading material or your laptop.
If you carry, lock your firearm in the courthouse I would not trust in vehicle due to the amount of auto and foot traffic going through the parking lot or on the side streets.
Re: Jury Duty in Doylestown...
Surprised nobody brought up civic responsibilities as a citizen. I've been called for jury duty a few times (but never picked) however as with voting, I consider it a solemn duty and serve with pride.

Do the have lock boxes at the Fed court house in Philly also? Was called a couple years ago and never felt so naked in my life. Also anyone ever experience any negativity or hassle as to why you are carrying when asking about lock boxes?

Yeah, I can see how the court might think you have a biased opinion :)

yea any time i go to the courthouse in reading i walk in holding my licence, when my turn to go through metal det i hand them my licence tell them im carrying, then they ask me what caliber i have fill my name out, go to a lock box, put my pistol in and they give me they key for the box and a copy of the receipt....pretty easy unless you go through the metal det without sayin anything....

Well, they automatically figured that given your line of work, your wife would be automatically prejudiced as a result.
I was called for jury duty back in March. I was out by noon...the perp decided to cop a plea rather than take a chance with the jury.

They used to five or ten years ago. But they don't anymore.
