7.62x39 Yugo ammo

JG Sales is having a VERY good deal on 7.62x39 ammo currently.

It's Yugo, brass cased, berdan primed (mildly corrosive). The ammo comes in 15 round boxes. 630 rounds per spam can, 1260 per case (2 spam cans).


Based on the current rates they have posted, and based on shipping rates, the best deal is when you order 2520 rounds or more. If we can get an order together of at least 2520 rounds, the following rates apply:

TOTAL price per 1000 rounds: $195 (shipping included)
TOTAL price per 500 rounds: $97.5 (shipping included)

So that's shipping already included. So if you ordered 1000 rounds, you'd pay exactly $195 and not a penny more (although we'd have to crack open a box for that since it's 66 boxes and 10 rounds). Because these are being sold by the box, anyone can order any amount as long as it's divisible by 15. We'll ship to my house, and we'll meet somewhere in the Lehigh Valley to doll out what people ordered. If the total round count is less than 5010 for the group order, I can order and pay myself upfront, and then you pay only when you pick up your ammo.

Another note, if you order over 630 rounds, you'll probably get a spam can + whatever extra boxes. If you order 1260 or over you'll likely get a crate + whatever extra boxes.

I would have preferred we do this under NEPA's group buy, but he wants to go with Classic Arms' higher price; $203 per 1000 rounds with a minimum of 5000 rounds instead of $195 per 1000 rounds with a minimum of 2520 rounds.

We have enough people ordering now to get the optimal rate of 19.5 cents per round delivered. I'm setting a deadline of Sunday, May 16th to get your orders in.

If we hit the mark of 5000 rounds before then, I'll place the order early.
