Open carry at Peddlers Villiage
Went to Peddlers Villiage in Bucks Co. with some family. Open carried a Colt 1911 government in a tan Galco thumb break.
Roughly half of the plates are from NJ.
First ‘encounter’: an old guy wearing a Montclair (NJ) hat sees me. I here him say in a thick a jersey accent, ‘Lugga dis guy!’
Ate at Cock and Bull, got a lot of big eyes and stares.
In a bookstore, an older well dressed man with his wife looked at me, pointed to his hip and gave me a thumbs up.
Overall, zero problems and it was a fun day.

I can imagine heads exploding! I try to avoid that place but I would have enjoyed bumping into you.
Re: Open carry at Peddlers Villiage
I used to go to the Apple Festival there every year but haven't been there in two years. I'll probably go there for the Christmas lights this year with a friend of mine who has never been there before. I can see open carry is probably a little less of a problem at Lahaska than down on the main drag at New Hope. The open pipes motorcycles used to make New Hope suck but fortunately they fixed that problem.

Realistically, the proximity to New Hope and its, uh, culture, brings a lot of creepy people to the place. We always kept our kids close; I called it Pederast's Village.
Re: Open carry at Peddlers Villiage
I would not predict any reaction in that venue that would be said in low, reasonable tones.
More like what you hear when you enter the parrot cage at the zoo.
