Re: One of our own arrested - please sign the petition!
Sent to his rep. Everyone else hit him. Might be more effective in your own words, but here's my message:

One of your constituents NEEDS HELP! This senior gentleman was arrested with firearms LEGAL IN PA just across the state line in NJ. It was likely a targeted stop by the NJ police due to his PA plate. He was pulled over for a missed turn signal and now faces 28 years in prison due to New Jersey's tyrannical anti-gun laws. Like Shaneen Allen a few years ago who Gov. Christie later pardoned, it was an honest mistake of an otherwise law-abiding citizen crossing into New Jersey with firearms. He even had an old NJ Firearms License that he may have thought would protect him. Please step in any way you can to help avoid this travesty of justice. I know you understand how close Dingman's Ferry is to the state line, it could happen to anyone very easily. No one's life should be over from a mistake like this, but the state of New Jersey is in business to do exactly that to gun owners. I have zero faith in anti-gun Gov. Murphy to help him out as Gov. Christie did with Ms. Allen.
Thank you for anything you can do for him.

Signed,
A concerned PA citizen.
Thankfully he's in a Republican district. Too bad about our state AG.

I signed the petition, but I am not going to donate. As others have stated, this guy should have known better. And it's not like he had a loose hollow point roll out from under his seat, he crossed the bridge into NJ with 6-7 firearms and range amounts of ammo, some even in plain view.

I agree...he should have known better.
28 years is nuts though. Even a felony at all is excessive. Meanwhile NJ lets illegal aliens run around untouched.
But, we also need to do all we can to fight these sh!% laws in sh!% states. We need national reciprocity. Anytime we can beat NJ or NY in any court case involving the 2A, it's a big win.
The man made a mistake, maybe even a stupid mistake...but I still support him. He doesn't deserve to end his life thus way for simply crossing the state line that's practically in his back yard.

I donated. Knowing the law, what he did was avoidable. That being said, he lives on the border and who knows how many times he ran across the bridge for something with his EDC as part of a routine? How many precious NJ cupcakes were shot because of it?
The problem isn't the person exercising their rights, the problem is the communist regime in NJ and I find that a cause worth fighting against.
