Went there on 26th. Cleaned and repaired very nicely!

They were just sitting in their car at the pistol range. They should sell their guns and take some parenting classes.

Re: Tobyhanna SGL Range Reports
I'm looking for a SGL range (mainly rifle, handgun less important) near East Stroudsburg. Can anyone comment on the Tobyhanna range?
1) Is it open tomorrow?
2) Is it generally crowded on summer Sundays? (any time of the day better?)
3) Can you fire from different position (sitting, standing, crouching)?
4) Can you use a target stand and move it up and down range when the range is cold, or are there fixed target stands that must be used? (If fixed target stands, at what distances?)
Thank you very much for any information about the Tobyhanna range or any other near East Stroudsburg that you'd recommend.
Re: Tobyhanna SGL Range Reports
1) Yes, but you need to check the PGC web site. Some ranges on Sunday are open for shooting at 8am on Sunday, while others are not open for shooting until noon.
2) Yes.
3) As long as you shoot from the area of the shooting benches.....aka.....firing point.
4) No. You must use the provided target locations.

You need either a Range Pass or valid PA hunting license to use Tobyhanna.
Most other ranges except Sunset Hill in Henryville are private clubs.
I haven't been to Sunset Hill but from my understanding, you want to stay away on weekends.
