Armscor Ammo Problems Galore
I went to the range with a brand new Taurus 605. I bought a box of Armscor .357 mag at the range and experienced many problems. The cylinder would not turn, I could not pull the trigger and many times the cyliner would not open nor would the cases eject. I was about the send the gun back to Taurus; however, I tried the gun with Critical Defense .357 mag and .38 special Federal and no problems whatsover. Looking at the Armscor ammo with range staff we found that about 60 percent of the rounds did not have the bullet seated properly in the cartridge. The ammo was crap. Just letting everyone know not to trust you life or even use at the range.
Re: Armscor Ammo Problems Galore
While spending the better part of a month getting my Savage FV-SR .22LR to settle down, Armscor was the worst accuracy of all brands I tried. I don't recall any other problems with it such as failure to fire or feed. It was so bad I felt it needs to be re-engineered.
Re: Armscor Ammo Problems Galore
I bought a brick of Armscor .22LR from a member here and when I ran it through my Victory I had nothing but issues. Failures to feed, fire, eject and some felt like over charged. You can hear and feel the difference of the extra powder. I still have it and only plan on using it for practice rather than my good stuff.
Re: Armscor Ammo Problems Galore
I have never read a good review by reloaders who have used their products.
Re: Armscor Ammo Problems Galore
Their .300 black out is ok, but fuck ever using their 9mm again. I could feel the outline of my eye pro from the shit that was blown out the back of the pistol. Just did not feel good, heavy inconsistencies of the charges.
