any south mountain fish and game member here?
Just wondering if there any south mountain fish and game members here?
Just joined , it's close to my house and the rates are more than reasonable. I've been up there 4 times now and i've not come accross anyone yet. are you allowed guests on the range at all? are they only there on saturdays.
Re: any south mountain fish and game member here?
To answer your questions; the club is open for breakfast on Saturdays and Sundays from 6am (I think) until 11am. To use the range you must come to the club when it's open and obtain a key. Then you may use the range any time, any day from dawn to dusk. Because of insurance regulations, guests are strictly prohibited.

How much is a membership and is it open to new memberships right now?
Ive got a friend who lives in MD and would like to go shooting with me so we are looking for a cheap range to do that. Its unfortunite that you cant have guests there, same with Waynesboro fish and game.

Re: any south mountain fish and game member here?
I think it's $20 a year with a $25 initiation fee. I believe that's what my son paid last year but don't quote me on that. As to whether membership is currently open, I'm not an officer or board of directors member, so I'm not actually sure. You would have to check with the club. I would suggest doing it when the club is open for breakfast Sat or Sun morning.
Re: any south mountain fish and game member here?
you have to have someone to sponser you 1st, the next meeting is sometime soon this month. $25 plus $15 for the 1st year than $15 each year after that. there are people there sat and sun so I would go up than (in the morning) and talk to someone. it's on loop rd.. on the left past the firestation.
