Looking for local gun shop
I am trying to steer away from buying online (I like to see what I am buying). I am looking for a Mosin or an SKS in the general Pike county... Milford, Dingmans, Wallenpaupack area that has these in stock. Call Dunkelbergers in Stroudsburg.. don't have any....
Re: Looking for local gun shop
gold n guns in milford
Keystone arms in matamoras
Wallenpaupack sporting goods in lake wallenpaupack.
Re: Looking for local gun shop
Wallenpaupack Sports had a 91/30 sitting there a couple weeks ago.
Re: Looking for local gun shop
Also try,
hemlock shooters, Heberlings, north east arms, hunters gallery, advanced arms, gun toters. and if you dare to go to Port Jervis NY, try price slashers and sam-n-mabels.
Re: Looking for local gun shop
I'm a little late to this thread, but I would highly recommend Hunters Gallery in Hamlin. They have the same pricing as many online stores and carry a decent sized inventory. Just remember to bring cash, and they will give you a nice discount.
Re: Looking for local gun shop
All the noted GS stores I would patronize, except for Dunkelbergers ! Since Pike is closer to Wallenpaupack, see Mark good place to start then work your way west Hemlock,Hunters Gallery,Toters,Advanced Arms, all these are very reputable Dealers and all about in the same price range but cash is king for negotiating !

MDT, Have you ever been to the shop in Honesdale that I think is called American Tactical? I have been by there a bunch but never stopped in. Looks like LEO stuff and Tacticool gear.
Re: Looking for local gun shop
Actually have been in there once !,Observed the store owner sell all 15 boxes of 45acp ammo to an out of stater while the guy behind me exasperated saying I hope you have one box for me ! The associate responds, well hes pauying cash ! I thought that was very inappropriate to say th least, and his prices and stock not a whole lot and high ! The other LGS in town near the train yard has an abundance of guns and fair prices,I just dont get up that far or too often,I would recomend him though.

If I were the second customer I would be leaving the sales guy a nice fat thank you very much and that'd be the last time I went there. Thanks for the heads up. I won't get up that way til spring but I'll check out the other place in town.
