Choose which sub-forums show up in New Posts?

I think I may have asked this quite some time ago, and I don't think there was a way to do it, but I'll try again.

When clicking on New Posts, which is how I always read the forum, is there now any
V Bulletin add-on, option or other way, which will let me choose which sub-forums show up on New Posts?

I like to look thru must of the sub-forums, however there are maybe 3 or 4 that I have no interest in at all and it would cut down on the clutter if i could eliminate seeing them on New Posts.

With some adjustments, I think this will do what you want.

Basically you can add exclude=x,y,z where x,y,z are forum ids.

You can use it for now, but I can't make any guarantees that vBulletin will continue to support this, it's sort of a not-very-well-documented trick.

Looks interesting. Where do I find forum IDs, though to plug in to that?

If you go to the main page and 'dwell' over the forum links, the status bar [if enabled on your browser] will display the link including the forum ID number at the end.
