I was watching some videos and saw that Alien pistol but when I found out how much it cost, strange that I suddenly lost interest ... The Mossberg MC2C looks like it might be worth at least handling but that's about it. I generally only buy a new gun once or MAYBE twice a year because (Grand Power Stribog aside) there's rarely anything that interests me. Has anyone seen any recently released guns that you can't live without buying?
Also interested in the python, but I'll wait to hear how they hold up and for the derp on prices go away.

I've been extremely tempted to switch out my EDC from a Gen5 G26 to a sig 365 SAS or a G43x with the new steel flush fit 15rnd mags, but I've always liked/carried my 26s and just cann't convinced myself it'd be worth the $$ to change over.

Smith & Wesson M&P EZ 9MM. Just waiting to shoot one. I like the way it fits me, the sights are good for my old eyes and the slide is easy to rack for my old hands.

I need a 22 Suppressor pistol host.
I want a 10/22 sbr
I want a high cap small pistol like the 43x.
I’ll probably buy nothing anytime soon.

I'm right there with you.
I like my 26 and there's not enough difference to justify getting something else, although I do keep looking and thinking about it.

The PSA MP5 clone coming out and their new Jakl are on my list.
New new? The Ruger 57, after its been tested and the craze dies down. Its basically what I wanted for the wife a few years ago but wasn't paying FN $$$. Older new, Ruger Hawkeye long range target, possibly in 308. Not a big Ruger centerfire fan despite the forum name but that one has potential.

The 43x carries completely different then the 26. For me the comfort especially when carrying appendix and shoot ability are night and day. Sold the 26 and never looked back.

Hmmmm. That JAKL looks interesting but I doubt I'd spend anymore money on another AR or change uppers. I'm a lot more interested in my Stribog, Beretta 92 pistols, and shotguns.

Palmetto State Armory's branded pistol that's supposed to run around $299.99 look interesting at that price with the psa name behind it I am definitely a buyer. looks like a sig and glock with a touch of M&P.

Yup and the reason why they made it and with an MSRP pf $299.99 is so they can get as many in the hands of citizens as possible like with their AR's and AK's. The owner is all about arming Americans and making sure what they sell are the very definition of common use in America.

Why though? I see signs at virtually every range I've been to that say "NO 5.7". If you shoot outside and have your own steel, 5.7x28 will ruin it in no time. Are you gonna shoot paper with a round that costs nearly 3 times what 9mm does? Also, between my experience with their PCC being unreliable, multiple critical parts breaking on an LC9S, and a GP100 with a cylinder would lock up and the trigger pull would be 50ish pounds to get it to fire, I'll pass on buying a Ruger.

I know and it really looks like they took the best part of each pistol and put together a great piece.

Low recoil for her, an excuse to get another toy for me. I don't have those issues at my range and don't shoot steel. Would never be a frequent use gun unless ammo prices drop considerably, and I get that going in. Nightstand use and occasional range time. Also haven't ever had any Ruger issues with legacy models or newer creations

To me it looks like a Glock and Glock with a touch of aftermarket Glock.

No, but a couple of older ones.
Need a PS90 to complement the Fn 5.7, and would LOVE a vietnam era M14. I'm not the best shot in the world, but the M14 makes me a LOT better.

You've got some good thinking there. If, worst comes to worst, you're involved in a self defense situation, do you want the police to take and hold your expensive carry gun for years? Or do you want something like the PSA building glock clones now that their Gen 1-3 are free to copy? If they're going to take a gun from me, I'd rather they took a cheap 300 dollar one that's a glock in all but name?
Yes, I'd like to get a G19 clone too.
For my next "dream" gun that I want but honestly don't have a use for save to bring it to the range now and then, is the CZ Rami. It's too heavy "for me" for daily carry, but still...

I just got the new 15 round mags for the G43x and made the switch from the G26. Mags work great and I can't believe how much easier it seems to carry.

Kinda have an itch for a Magnum Research BFR in 4570, but not sure if I would regret spending a grand on a handgun, or if I would enjoy shooting it...
Gonna stew on it for a bit.

I saw on AR15.com last night that a lot of the pre orders are now shipping for the Shield Arms magazines. They are still showing out of stock on the website at this time, but Brownells has them on a pre order right now so I may go that route. As far as switching from the G26 it's worth it even before these magazines came out the difference in comfort and actual handling of the pistols are night and day. I put almost 300 rounds through the Glock 43x the other day with ease and had fun doing it. I never felt that way about the 26 it was a chore in all ways and I hated every minute with it. These new 15 round mags are just icing on the already excellent cake.
