On a historical note, the last president definitly known to carry a firearm while in office was Theodore Roosevelt. Teddy was a big 2A supporter and loved to shoot. He also had a couple of attempts on his life at times and wanted to be able to defend himself if possible.
Re: Can our President carry a gun??
Well, if I were President I'd be carrying. And probably not too secretively about it either. As for our current one, since he has admitted to using pot and/or selling illegal drugs, wouldn't that cause him to be a prohibited person?

Jackson shot a man on the White House lawn for treason. Now that's a damned president!

Most, but definitively not all. I'm not saying at all that it's a likely scenario, but possible? Yes, definitely possible.
Re: Can our President carry a gun??
Whether or not he could by the letter of law, he most certainly could in practice, if he so desired. And he'd never be called on it unless he fumbled with it and had a ND while in public.
Re: Can our President carry a gun??
I don't see why the President couldn't. How do we know they didn't in the past? I don't think the current President does, but he could!
