I love N8 tuckable holsters. Very comfortable.
In general, I don't like tuckable holsters because it adds thickness to the holster profile. But I'm a big fan of N82 tactical holsters, especially their non-plastic/non-kydex lineup. I've got dozens of holsters in a drawer that go unused because I keep going back to my ten year old N82.
I've been using Alien Gear for the last 4 years. No issues, comfortable, adjustable retention, not real expensive and made in the US. Bonus that you can trade in the kydex shells for another model and only pay shipping one way.
I wore a Crossbreed supertuck w/ horsehide for a while, but I could never get it to stop squeaking every time I took a step, and the retention wasn't good. The retention was only adjustable by heating it with a hairdryer or heat gun.
My vote is the CompTac MTAC or CTAC instead of the Crossbreed. The MTAC is also a leather/kydex hybrid, but it doesn't squeak like the Crossbreed did. (I'm not sure if the metal clips or the horsehide or the combination was to blame, but the CompTac plastic C-clips never gave me any trouble.)
If you prefer all kydex, the CTAC is similarly tuckable. Both have worked great for me with full size guns.
Well, I wound up purchasing a FoxX deluxe trap tuckable. Perfect fit, adjustable retention and its virtually invisible when worn properly.
