That area seems to be ground zero for the introduction or feral hogs and now CWD. Gee I wonder what they common denominator is in that area.

This sucks and I wish they would get to the bottom of the cause. Perhaps we need to severyly cut back the population and maybe end these farms.

They need to kill every deer within ten miles of that place or else it's going to spread all over the entire state. It's happening in Wisconsin right now.

Rumor has it that a taxidermist in Easter West Virginia started the whole mess when he fed contaminated carcass parts from out west to his dogs and now it has spread to Northern Virginia, The pan handle or Maryland and into PA . I think it's to wide spread to stop it now.

If it ever jumps to humans and the transmission of it stays the same, it will make black plague look like a cold.

As long as you aren't eating human brains or drinking cerebro-spinal fluid or vitreous humors you should be OK.

Actually it's transmitted by contact or any bodily fluid. Deer aren't eating each other transmitting this. They are getting it from casual contact, urine, feces ect. Imagine how quickly it would jump person to person. Then it takes about 18 months until you have symptoms then you're dead in a couple weeks.
