Shooting: Wilkes-Barre Wal-Mart.

Shooting outside of Wilkes-Barre. Details seem sketchy right now but appears a man was shooting at random cars in the parking lot. Police were called and exchanged fire with the gunman. Gunman took a couple of hits and incident was over. Only one shot was the gunman.
The Wal-Mart was locked down as were other businesses nearby. I understand the idea of a lock down, but I don't like being told to sit and wait.
Fair amount of gun play in the Wilkes-Barre area.

I used to live in NY, upstate. So, nothing against New Yorkers (NJ on the other hand), but the number of NY and NJ plates around here is ridiculous. I hope after the upcoming elections things will improve in WB but I won't be holding my breath.

Wilkes Barre has been in decline for years. The 72 flood regenerated it for a while. But it continues to spiral downward.
It like many smaller towns in the area are places you go through to get to your destination.
