"do do do looking out my back door"
I was expecting pictures.:)
Could be worse...it's spittin' snow here.
He looks just like the guy I saw standing on the road two nights in a row, right near our house.
Pretty animals, too bad they eat the hell out of all your favorite vegetation, take 'em out.
Great pics! And crossbow range too!
I was driving out of the "hood" yesterday and since it was close to Halloween, didn't think it odd that somebody apparently moved a lawn ornament over the sidewalk to the roadside curb. But I still slowed down and took a better look.
It was a 10 point buck nearly as big as a sofa who just looked at me - wasn't scared, until I blinked. Then he moved 10 feet back from the sidewalk and we did the "whose gonna blink first" routine. I lost, after 3 minutes and then just put the vehicle in gear and motored my way to the STOP sign at the end of the road.
Truly, it's a darn shame that we can't hunt in our own backyards - at least where we live (small lots).
Then tonight we saw 3 does walking though our creek (35 yard bow shot). Two were young and even if we were allowed to hunt them, we wouldn't have taken the shot.
Wax on, wax off, I guess...:o
Why not take it?
