Had to hit the home office in West Chester today, and took the opportunity to meet a fellow forum member and purchase one of his pistols. A very nice guy, and I couldn’t have asked for a nicer Mk4!

Couldn't resist this .45-120 Norma brass I got at Alderfer's Auction yesterday. Especially since I already have the RCBS dies for the caliber... :o
The brass came packaged in the nicest boxes I've seen in awhile...

Went a little crazy...got an FN Herstal FNC to go with the FN Herstal 50.00 FAL

Sure seemed like I did - the Norma brass is about as rare as hen's teeth (the 45-120 brass is also 3.25" long) and much to my dismay, it seemed like just about everybody had a rifle of this caliber squirreled away in the back of a closet. Either that or I was just sweating the bids...
But it was in the auction listing (incorrectly so) as .45-110 which is more common and probably sparked more interest to some. I actually measured the brass and turned it over, noting it was headstamped ".45-120".
That would be a "NO GO" in a rifle made for .45-110. The other bidders didn't know I saved them from a disaster in the making...
Anyone own a Beretta APX carry 9? I put a sub $300 bid on a new one and won. I'm hearing they are a good gun just never took off? We will see...……….

Under $300 for a Beretta is a win regardless of what anyone says.
