PAGC doesn't have a clue what is legal or illegal.....
I just got off the phone with the PAGC to ask a simple question about having my suppressed .22 for small game while archery hunting turkey.
All and all the guy didn't have a clue and told me that not only was hunting with a silencer was illegal that they are illegal to possess.
Guess I will have my state representative request the official position regarding hunting two things at the same time and hunting with a silencer.

Is there anything in the hunting book regarding your question?

Jay Bell got a written response from them on this some years ago, the gist of which was "it's legal, but we don't think it's particularly sporting".

The only time it's mentioned is when it's all good for them to use in their legislative report.

Otherwise, there is no mention of suppressors in any of the body of Title 34 or Tile 58 stating they are unlawful to use.

Scoped, high powered rifles aren't sporting to begin with. If you're not dropping from the trees onto your prey, wrestling them to the ground and then slitting their throat with a stone knife, then you're doing it wrong.

I want one of these for deer.
No tax stamp, no waiting.

Don't want silencers used during deer season. I want to be able to hear that missed shot, and watch for the deer to come my way. Now, that's sporting!

They are still very loud, it just takes the edge off. 308 will ring your ears. If you are shooting a lot you still need ear protection.
