Do you Loctite your grips?
I never had this problem with any of my other guns, but my Bersa Thunder .380 every time after taking it to the range, the screws that hold the grips get loose. You can shake the gun and see the grips rattling. Is this a common thing? What can I do about this, can I just loctite the screws that hold them?
I do know not to use the heavy duty red loctite, I use Uncle Mike's Guntite when I do.
Re: Do you Loctite your grips?
If the grips are plastic don't get any loctite on them or it may mess them up. Otherwise, I don't see why you shouldn't do it.

+1. You can also stake the threads on the screws, but don't stake the starter threads (basically, the first two). If you're not familiar with staking the threads, stick with the Loctite. It works, well.

A small drop of Elmer's school glue will hold the screws with out having to worry about hurting the plastic grips.

Thanks for the help. It was a little tricky for me not to touch the plastic, but I got it on there without touching any part of the grips.
Re: Do you Loctite your grips?
That's been a problem with all of my Bersas, so I just put a very small drop of blue loctite on them. Make sure you clean any lube off of the threads before you put on the loctite.

#60 O rings from Home Depot under the head of the screw should do the trick. If I'm remembering the number correctly.
Re: Do you Loctite your grips?
No, I do not loctite, elmer , or any thing .
seems I " fondle " my guns enuff , that I notice any play in the screws.
also, I like to remove my grips every once in a while to clean underneath.

I use clear fingernail polish on screw threads on firearms. It is probably a little less aggressive than blue Loctite. Works great for iron sights also. Never had an issue with anything coming loose and it isn't too hard getting them loose when you need to.
