I'm wondering if anybody in Westmoreland County has gone through the NFA process for an SBR, AOW, or machine gun? I'm interested in starting an AOW shotgun project, but I'm wondering if the Westmoreland County sheriff is friendly or not when it comes to signing off on the BATF forms.
Yep, we send clients in Westmoreland County to Sheriff Moore all the time. He will sign, no problem.

OP, what municipality are you in?
I know in experience with Penn-Township and Jeannette, the CLEO will sign unless he has a reason not to. Have you checked your local chief?
